Picture too large

Hello- when a member tries to upload a picture from eacell phone its says "file too large" - same picture uploads fine thru a desktop computer, any suggestions? TIA (Xenforo 2.2)

Probably because cell phones uses a higher megapixel photo and then if they put that into a pc then it may resize it smaller so that it can go through.

Keep it at the 2,048 for both

You say that it is the same picture but have you compared the file sizes of the two images including pixels width and height?

What is the file size of the image for both the mobile and PC? You say they are the same image but are they really?

Your maximim attachment file size: is 2,048 KB due to your PHP upload_max_filesize being currently set to 2M.
To allow larger uploads you need to adjust this PHP setting.
