Personal Conversation / Premium user account

I am looking for this:
only let members to engange in "Personal Conversations" when they pay for a premium-membership (subscription).

So literally, members are able to "receive" a personal conversation. But they are only able to "reply" to a personal conversation once they buy a subscription.


Does this feature require and Add-on or would this be working "out of the box" via some permission/group-settings in XF ?

By default a participant can reply to any conversation that is not locked.
However, you could simply hide the reply box from any user that is not a member of user group x.
