XF 1.1 Permission problems.

So I have a group called "Devs" and I have their permission for conversations set to "Allow" yet the person in that group can NOT start any conversations. I fixed this issue temp. by making this user also part of the member group. I dont want them to be a secondary group member instead just a member of the "Devs" group. Any ideas?

Is he a member of a group that has the conversation permission set to never? Change that to revoke if so.

It's set to allow.

The default organization is to have everyone be a primary member of Registered. Then you add secondary groups. Secondary is functionally identical to primary.

But if a user doesn't have a permission that they should then you need to verify permissions for all of their groups.
