XF 2.3 Paypal payment does not change membership/VIP membership

Previously, payment via PayPal was ok in XF2.2...
Then I updated to 2.3.4 and it stopped working...
I have the same problem, a member makes a purchase via PayPal, but nothing happens for a member/VIP member.
I have to do it manually.
I'm very ignorant about this.
If anyone has a solution, please let me know.

The Paypal Legacy system an member upgrades has worked flawlessly for me for years.

Are you getting errors? Are you using the IPN url correctly?

Paypal has already worked fine for me, but I had a STRIPE failure last week. They paid in Australian dollars through stripe, and our forum is in USA. I'm guessing it had something to do with that difference. I manually updated it.

I'm changing to VIP manually.

No errors and yes. It does not appear in my payment log.

I switched away from legacy to the new version to no avail. I'm using stripe now (edited to say, I got stripe working, still no clue what is wrong with paypal).

I'm still having the same problem, I'll wait for another XF update.
I'm changing to VIP manually.

If you you’re not getting a log entry then you don’t have IPN set correctly.

I have been doing this for 7 years now without issue, I have everything set correctly.

But to be honest it's okay, I've bitten the bullet and moved on to Stripe and it's worth the switch. I just didn't want to cancel all my existing subscriptions which were working flawlessly for years until this month with no changes on my end or incorrect settings.
