I am trying to look into setting up payments for our forum website to charge a monthly subscription. I was wanting to figure out how to do it to make sure everything was working smooth before i made the final purchase, but am running into some issues. Would someone be willing to help me?

You can setup a test provider by using this addon @ your site though.

Is this @ the provider or in the XF server log? What provider?
If PayPal are you trying the legacy or the new current settings. The new PayPal provider setup may cause problems.
The more information you can provide will help.

Its in XF.
I go in sandbox mode on Paypal, use my client ID and Secret and i get that error.
We are trying to create a website to have a community for recruiting info and the following of our favorite college football team.
Maybe its becasue i dont have a business account in paypal, but i didnt think it was necessary for me to have that to make this work. Also this is why i wanted to try the demo, before i committed to it and not know what im doing.
Maybe it could be because im using sandbox credentials within Paypal and not live ones
