Trade-off of handling a few emails here and there and working on other critical items vs spending time to debug this one issue working through the code to fix. Given we are in one of our busy months right now, the number of requests coming in was starting to get too time consuming, so it forced me to finally prioritize this.

Thank you for all your work. Appreciate your contribution to keep this going.

We did about 100 upgrades for BF & Cyber Monday and I guess everyone has just clicked it twice. (Human instinct). I actually had totally forgot about the glitch I had initially reported, but happy to see it is fixed as an early Christmas present. :-)

This critical addon is just getting better and better.
Does this email you when a payment did not go through, when the payment gateway (authorize.net) generate an error code?

No -- you will have correlate with authorize.net logs.
I have a custom addon made by xfrocks for us around the same time with this addon to do just that. It will email you everytime a transaction fails and track it in XF payment log. This allows you to jump right on it right away.
I can give you the right to maintain that addon if interested.

Keep up the great work. I rely on this addon for my payments for years. This is a must have addon for forums that processes a lot of payment.

I tried to a partial refund today via the new option and got this error.
Refund failed: Could not determine the card number from the original transaction.

I have to go to authorize.net portal to process the refund manually and it has no problem.

Can confirm that's an issue. There's also another which is handling special characters (used on the description during refund) for the purchase, which Authorize.net doesn't seem to like. Not sure when I'll get the next release out, but it's on my radar.

Thank you for updating this Jack. Just came across this new update by accident today.

Not to toot my horn, but this version paired with the refund addon I have is...
Stick Around Bob Ross GIF by Originals

Still definitely room for improvement, but this version has processed literally thousands of payments in my production environment with no issues.

I was about to ask if there is an update for the refund addon. I remember last time I tried, it didn't work from the XF ACP.
Sound exciting that it has been successfully used to process that amount of payments. Can't wait to try.

I wonder if there is some improvement to provide feedback to users whose payment was declined by card issuer. All I get in the XF payment log is "This transaction has been declined."
In all cases, the user will try multiple times using the same card but the same result. They need to change a different card or contact issuer to ask for approval. Many card issuers will automatically block a large transaction over a new site. You have to call in to clear it.

I wish that it will display a message like "This transaction has been declined by the card issuer. Please try again with a different card or contact the card issuer to authorize the payment"
