XF 1.5 Password reset problem

I have a member who's having a problem resetting her password, and I'm not sure how to help. Anyone have any advice?

Here's what she writes:
"I have attempted several times to reset my password. The website is not accepting anything I enter, and also adds one extra character to the "confirm" password. I've somehow been able to use my phone if I am communicating, but the computer itself will not work for me at all.(and I have no idea what password the phone has stored in it's memory) I want to use the computer...the phone is not quite adequate. Chrome is the browser I've been using. Any ideas on how to remedy this?"

If she's not that computer savvy and is having difficulty resetting her password, I would just ask her what she wants it set to, and manually set it in the ACP.
