XF 2.3 Password reset error

For some time now, after switching from vBulletin to XenForo, whenever someone tries to change their password, it throws an error and no one receives an email.
Is it possible that I may have deleted some log from vBulletin and that’s causing the issue now?
Is there a way to reinstall the forum and migrate users, posts, threads, and everything related to them?
