Passkey/biometric login doesn’t work on all pages

On the following pages /login or /account/dismiss-notice

after clicking accept cookies (old style), I go through to the login page. If I try to use the passkey login here it doesn’t work. However if I use the navbar it loads fine. Screenshots attached.

I’ve disabled all passkeys on my profile to start from scratch. On the overlay the passkey button works but I cannot dismiss the cookie notice without logging in and the passkey option on the login page doesn’t function as designed.

This happens on iOS on all browsers. Responsive, default theme and on desktop.

When I had it enabled with passkey stored in iOS it worked from the browser then for 2FA it said it wasn’t valid and I couldn’t get passed the 2FA without using a backup code.

(Yet it’s working on XF2.3.5 here okay)

UPDATE: This conflict was created by cloudflare’s rocket loader. I thought it just cached data to make the site load faster but it causes a lot of issues.

Is it possible to take users who press this for the first time to register if they don’t have an account?
