XF 2.1 Pass meta tags

From a template i send:

1.<xf:title>{$test.page_meta_title}</xf:title>
2.<xf:h1>{$test.page_name}</xf:h1>
3 ...
4. <xf:macro template="metadata_macros" name="description" arg-description="{$wiki.page_meta_descr}" />

Seems to be ok, but why i have another block starting with

<xf:description meta="false">
...
</xf:description>

?

This is the one that should work:

<xf:description>Description</xf:description>

That's what we use in the forum_view template and if you go to a forum view you can see it works - it outputs the description text below the title, and handles the meta description.
