We are trying to get the forum edit/post box camera icon (embed gallery images) code from Photopost on VBulletin 4 to work in the forum edit/post box camera icon in Xenforo 2. Also need to swap the VB member profiles code with Xenforo profiles.

Has anyone done this successfully and if so, would you be so kind as to lend us a hand in sorting out the coding mystery?

Thank you.

Because Xenforo has been working on the gallery import tool since the beginning of December, yet still have no ETA. Meanwhile, Tapatalk removed photo uploads from their BYO app, so we want to dump it ASAP, but have to get the site mobile friendly first, which our VB4 is not.

It might appear so, however this is straight from Xenforo employee Slavik, who does the importing. "XF1 gallery import is, not ideal, XF1 didnt support Albums within categories, so imported items could look extremely out of place This will change in XF2 media gallery, but those importers are still in alpha stage, and certainly not reliable enough to be used on a production import If you go via XF1, you may need to spend considerable time manually re-assigning albums to categories once the upgrade to Xf2 is done" He recommends we wait for the gallery import tool to be completed, but they have no ETA whatsoever and we need to move forward ASAP, because Tapatalk shut off photo uploads for BYO branded apps without any notice, so our mobile users can no longer upload photos and that is 90% of our activity here. So members are getting pissed off and leaving for other sites, so we need to get VB upgraded to X2 so it's mobile friendly, then we can dump Tapatalk altogether. Every day that passes meanwhile, our traffic and membership is dwindling and we are in a crunch emergency frenzy to get this resolved somehow. The only solution we've come up with, is to upgrade VB4 to X2 and try to get Photopost working with X2, until the photo import tool is ready. It's quite confusing, but does that make sense?

It might be faster to hire someone develop a migration tool (Photopost to XF2 XFMG) until the official importer is ready.
