XF 1.4 Page load times with images in background vs solid colors.

    With java, I'm running a series of banners that change with every page view. I'm considering using the same thing and doing it with images in the background. Gameday shots like Jerry's World, aerial photo's of the stadium, another 15 or so rotating backgrounds.

    Should I expect a change in the time it loads a page? Wirelessly, about 20 yards from my modem/router, loading in about .225 ...

    Yep, the client browser will need to download the new image on every page load (unless the image already appeared on an earlier page load in which case the browser will probably have it cached).

    You should be concerned with the file size of each image.
