I want to edit my site in a live view sort of say. Like I'd like to take the CS5 "Live View" and edit it. So I can see the template the way it will look on my site live.

Anybody know of software like this?

I don't know how CS5 works but Firebug will do that for css and html.
As will Firebug Lite for Chrome, but nowhere near as well.

If you mean by writing to the files/templates then no.
It just allows you to edit and view the results in real time.

Refreshing the page will revert any edits.

He's basically asking for a text editor and browser in one?

If so, if you have a Mac, Espresso is awesome.

Firebug has helped tremendously for doing edits on the website,

    Inspect Element
    Search In Templates

There's also Visual Web Developer (free from Microsoft). It's more ASP.Net oriented, but you can still do CSS and HTML and view them live in a design view and in a browser. http://www.microsoft.com/express/Web/

I have done the same thing.. Used Firebug to inspect the element, then make live tweaks to the css to get it the way I want it, and then go into the ACP and make the changed there for a permanent solution.
