    hey,

is there any way to open the extra.css with a own editor or do I have to copy paste for every edit?

I'm not sure what you mean.

You can edit the template in the ACP.
Or, if you prefer, copy the contents to an external editor, make your changes, paste the contents back into the template.

I would like to have a syntax highlighting and for that im useing the sublime editor but copy and paste is to permanently annoying. I was hoping that there is a way to open it directly

You can use WebDAV to connect to your server and view / edit templates in your native editor.

Oh, in that case, you can use WebDav as Jeremy suggests.

I am also testing an add-on by @Chris D which may be released at some point.

Where exactly can I get WebDAV? I was on the webdav.org website but there are many ressources where I don't know what is it.
