XF 1.4 one member is seeing thread posts in ascending order

All my forums are set for descending but I have one member who claims his posts are in ascending order. I just migrated. Maybe there is a setting stuck somewhere?

Via screenshot or logging in via their account and checking yourself?

could they have clicked one of the title bars in the main forum? (where it shows title, start date, etc) as that will resort everything.
