Not Planned On mobile - Thread body is clickable

    On some news website (nytimes.com for example), I see that desktop mode, you click on the title to go the article. When on mobile mode, you can click on the article body (snippet) to go there as well.
    It's very useful on mobile because it gives you a much large area to click on instead of trying to hit the small title links.

    This will help with portal type addons where it usually displays the snippet of the article.

    Where in the core would this be used?

    Any changes to the core software wouldn't necessarily have any effect on add-ons.

    It would be simple enough to make thread snippets on add-on portal/home pages to link to the thread now.

    You got me. I don't see where in core that snippet is exposed because XF doesn't have a portal.
    I would be interested in seeing how to make the portal snippets link to thread.

    Wrap it in an a href would be the obvious answer.
