We have some forum sections that we dont want people to use anymore, we have them closed off but do you just put them in a archive section to keep things organized on the forum home or what?

    1. Classifieds used to be threads, now its an actual plugin.
    2. Ratings & Reviews used to be threads, now using a plugin.
    3. Photos & Videos used to be threads now using a plugin.

Would you just place a archive forum then make them all sub-forums?

    Or what would you do?

If they still held content beneficial to the public I'd do what xenforo does and archive it but not allow posting.

If it's redundant content that my site could do without I'd place it in the trashcan away from public view.
