I need to reset my FTP password as I forgot it. For some reason, I think the last time I did that it affected the forum and it became inaccessible. Is that possible or am I confusing it with something else?
Setting an FTP password should not affect anything, even in cPanel, unless your FTP password is tied to mySQL for some reason. Usually, even in a panel, the subsystems of FTP, mySQL and such use different passwords.
