XF 1.2 NULL issue with signature and other fields

I am getting NULL in test imports in Signatures, Occupation, and Interests field for those users who have nothing in them.

Those who have something it imports fine.

I am importing from vb 4.2.

That is the usertextfield table from vB. vB allows null values for those fields. Is that creating a problem?

Yes, when imported it shows NULL written in all signatures. Is there a query i can fire to replace those NULL values to empty/nothing there. And then i will try again and see if that fixed the problem.

Please let me know how to empty Occupation and Location areas as well IF there is NULL.

If you just want to empty signatures then you can use a simple db query after-the-fact:

UPDATE xf_user_profile
SET signature = ''
WHERE signature = 'NULL';
