Can anyone here recall how to make notification list dropdown when hovering on?

No, it was always on click for mobiles (it has to be doesn't it?). I (and my users) find it annoying that it's now on click for desktop, so I'd also like to know a way to revert it back to what it was, ie on hover for desktop.

A few of my own members are asking to bring back hover dropdown menus and alerts in xen2. Tried finding a quick solution to no avail. Hope something can be made eventually.

This type of addon sounds right up @AndyB’s alley. Perhaps he can make the all menus open on hover with desktop.
