XF 2.0 Notices rotation

Hi, previously at XF1 notices rotated randomly?
Just one each X seconds was shown.

Is it possible to do so at XF2?
Now I have 3 notices with the same Criteria and all of them show at the same time (which needs lot of space on the screen).

Yes it is. For each notice, change the type to "scrolling". Optionally, edit the display order as well to change which notice will display first, second etc.

Lack of explanation at /admin.php?notices/ about scrolling

Problem solved

Scrolling notices are grouped together, and are shown in a cycle, with the first notice scrolling horizontally to make way for the second notice, which in turn scrolls away to show the third notice etc. Note that scrolling notices will only scroll away if there is more than a single scrolling notice visible.

Oh no. This means going through all existing notices and changing them. We have LOTS.

I don't understand why all notices wouldn't be set to scrolling during the upgrade process, in keeping with the XF1 default.

UPDATE xf_notice SET notice_type='scrolling';

can't recall offhand, but these may be cached. If that doesn't apply immediately try opening one and saving it after running that.
