How can I get a notice shown a my main index page? When I go to page criteria,
there is no "root" to select.

If you click the Page Criteria tab and scroll down till you get to the Content Template is: (ensure the checkbox is checked) and in the field insert "forum_list" without the quotes

By default the notices should show up on the main page.

Thanks for the answers, but this way the notice will show in all forum pages, I want this notice only to be shown at the main index page.

Add XenForo_ControllerPublic_Index to the "page criteria => Controller and Action is:" Field
