XF 2.0 Noob question & a couple of issues

Hello, I have a few questions about forum config and an error message I am getting.

1: Thread order
It appears that threads are being ordered "newest first". This seems wrong and I want to change it to oldest first. Is this something that can be done in ACP an if so, where?

2: Members "details" bar
It seems the side bar holding members details is longer then the "posting" and cuts into the dividing line. Can this be easily corrected?

3: Oops error
When ever I try to adjust a style property, or template I get the "oops error". This happens on default & light skin and on boath admin & super admin accounts. I guess this is an error deeper in the system? I have cleared cache but still cant make changes. I need some help with this one please.

1) That is controlled by the individual node option Default sort order

2) Try on a unmodified style with all addons disabled, and see if the issue is still there, as I can not replicate that.

3) What is showing in the browser console?

1: Excellent thanks, I knew I saw that somewhere.

2: No addons installed, but also happens with default skin.

Glad #1 is sorted. Sadly I am not certain on the other two issues, hopefully someone comes along that has a idea.

I am also getting the same error (3) while trying to edit some test postings.
