when user added a link its nofollow but moderater adding link its dofollow example here

Try analyse permissions to see which group is maybe causing the yes to override no

I have a sponsor asking me who wants their linked banner from dofollow to "nofollow"

Hey there, it passes SEO "juice" to give it authority which will take away from your sites potential future "authority" to pass onto others, think of it as draining your seo authority the more outbound "dofollow" links that your site is outputting, the less authority your site's links have.

The advantage is that the backlink would be an actual beneficial backlinks whereas nofollow would just be for show/visitors that are browsing your site and see the link to visit it.

basically tell that sponsor it will cost them extra.
