Lack of interest No way to click to the latest post in article preview/expanded once read

This is a big complaint from users. In all other forums there is a last post column with a date you can click to get to the latest post. In articles if you use Preview/Expanded, in threads marked read, every link goes to the first post. The title, the date, and the replies link. Plus the view full article link! That's 4 links to the start.

I suggest the reply count link takes you to the latest post. Or the latest post date is listed somewhere. Why have 4 links go the same place?
