Nginx rewrites for Simple Machines Forum (SMF) --> Xenforo URLS - The URL rewrite rules I used with Nginx/Centminmod when converting a SMF forum to Xenforo

Here's the list of Nginx rewrite rules I used on a forum that I converted from Simple Machines Forum (SMF) to Xenforo.

When first using these, I recommend testing all the rewrites as 302's rather than 301's until you're sure you've got it right. Otherwise your browser will cache the 301, which may or may not be possible to reset depending on your browser. Some browsers don't reset 301's when you clear the cache.

To use a 302 rather than a 301, replace every instance of "permanent" with...

Added handling of SMF urls that end in ';wap2'

Added handling of board, topic, and message urls that end in ';wap2'

There may be other SMF urls that end in ';wap2', but these three were the only ones I was finding.

Added handling for a bunch of funky SMF User urls

SMF separates parameters on users with ';' but Nginx doesn't support that as a parameter separator, so amended the regex to match all the variants I found in my webmaster tools reports.
