I think the point he's trying to make is that there appears to be a bug: The user can input a non-valid email address to start with, then input another email address, and it doesn't matter whether that second email address is valid or not, he/she'll be confirmed anyway.At the very least the message he received the second time should have said "Thank you for validating your new email address." not "Confirmation was not required."
