XF 1.3 NEW PROFILE POSTS

I am hoping someone could give me a heads up to how the new profile posts is working with the new release.

Would it be ok now to upgrade to that version?

Do you know how long it is in beta before officially released?

A release cycles through betas, RC and stable as it increases in stability. The length required for each stage is dependent on the release.

Yes. When it is ready. More waiting is required.

It is now at RC2 so based on previous releases, one would assume it will either be RC3 or stable next week.

They're release candidates.

Beta software may be prone to errors and it is testing new features before a gold release.

Release candidates are versions of the software that the developers feel are ready for official release, but final testing may occur.

The numbers following them are strictly versions release in that stage.
