XF 1.4 "New Posts" filter

Is it possible to filter out (block) posts from a specified forum from displaying them on the "New Posts" page? I have an RSS feed that auto populates one of my forums and members don't want to see the RSS feeds on the "New Posts" page. Thank you.

In the node's options, uncheck the box regarding display on the New Posts page.
