New Laragon 7.0.4 is no longer free

This is an outdated 6.0.0 version. Laragon has updated it to 7.0.4, forcing you to buy a license to get more features.

I guess, it's time to switch to XAMPP or WampServer. Or stay with Laragon 6.0.0

Laravel Herd is what I recommend.

Free version doesn’t include MySQL but you can easily install that.

Yes, I second this! My friend told me to use this one. I will have to make a backup for my add-on development and database and move to this one.

It would be great if you could change from the local dev environment recommendation from 2020 to 2024 and move from Laragon to Laravel Herd. Also, you can update the XenForo FAQ/documentation that makes Laravel Herd recommended to use on XenForo for test development.

I can tell that Laravel herd is alright, but it doesn't let you install Apache, they are running at nginx and making XenForo become unstable and causing error issues. I need to take a look this issue at tomorrow
 
It’s literally my development environment so not sure why it would be unstable.

I haven’t used Apache for local development for a long time at this point.

No, I mean it's Laravel herd that files were defaulted, which made XenForo messed up. I've removed all folders and files moved to the Others folder and XenForo shows up and working again. Now I don't have to move to Apache from Nginx.
