XF 2.1 New Install - Got message from admin. Is it legit?

The email title begins with "File healthcheck warnings on". It provides a link to view the problem, and the link sends me to my admin login. I'm usually a fairly cautious person. In this case I clicked on the link. But didn't login. The message said....

"An automatic file health check was started on "xxx.com - title of forum" (redacted for privacy reasons) at Aug 10, 2019 at 12:52 PM and some problems were found that should be resolved as soon as possible.

After checking 4,556 files we found 1 files which contained unexpected contents. If you edited these files yourself you may ignore this warning but otherwise you should investigate further as this could be evidence of file corruption or potentially malicious alteration."

There was no mention of the file with the problems. Is this a legit email. Can I login as admin and check this without fear of being hacked?

Yes, it is legit. It happens when the file health check returns unexpected contents such as in your case.

If you fear something, just don't visit the site through that e-mail. Visit your board through your normal url and login to your ACP just as you are used to.

This should await you there:

OK. The message was harmless. I replaced xenforo-logo.jpg with my own logo. Nice catch. Which does prompt the question. I cannot find where I am supposed to upload my own logo to replace this in my forum admin. Or how I am supposed to do that.

Just upload the XF logo back and upload your own logo to the same place. And then go to AdminCP and make a search like this:

Click on Logo URL.

And there you can type in the path, like styles/default/xenforo/My Logo Name.png
