    Sad day. He was at least alive to see Curiosity do its thing. Hope we can go back in our history and get the excitement we had in the 1960's, in regards to NASA and our universe, back.

    This came to me as surprise. I knew he would be old by now, but eh. I didn't realize he was battling cancer, or is that old.

    The next flying things of NASA (like the Space Shuttles in the 70s) should be named "Enterprise" and "Armstrong-class".

    Yeah, I'm a Trekker :p
