Need suggestions for bringing more users!

Hey,

So I run a gaming community mainly based around my gaming server and I am pretty much stuck on what to bring that will draw attention. The gaming server is mainly used by individuals aged between 13-24 so it has to be things which will fit that age group. My forum doesn't get much activity for whatever reason, and I feel like the forum is reasonably satisfying, but could maybe have more things in which will want people to register, join in discussions, and so forth. So this is what I've got..

Premium Members get the following:

- Bold username and icon with a sparkle background.
- Send messages up to 100 users.
- Access to 'Subscriber Zone' with 18+ Porn Dump.
- Change your username every 7 days.
- Custom user title.
- Larger storage space.
- Plus more.
- Subscriber Zone contains: Random Banter section and 18+ Porn Dump.

I have Raffles which users can win Premium Memberships, in-game stuff, and I'm planning on throwing in some prizes such as iTunes cards and whatnot. Everyone has access to the shoutbox to chat about anything and everything. There's no signature limit for anyone, as well as a word count limit. I also have 2 unique skins they can change and customize themselves. However, I want users to join for their sake and be active. Not throw "prizes" everywhere in order to have them join, because then they will only join because there's a reward involved and not because they'll remain active.

Discussions: 4,700
Messages: 29,153
Members: 4,102

So all in all, what do you offer to keep users active and users wanting to purchase Premium Upgrades (if you have this)?

Depending on the game you run on your server, you can probably link in perks to the game server if they use the forum. It would work with Minecraft for example, or if it was another type of game such as CS:GO, Battlefield 4 etc, you could grant perks to ID's based on forum usage for fun servers or something.

Probably not what you had in mind but it would be a way to get them to use it possibly.

I didn't think about going this route. Maybe implement it where if they reach certain post counts, they get some perks?
