Need help creating a certain addon

Ah, my first post on the resource manager...http://xenforo.com/community/resources/add-random-text-to-your-logo.1447/ I want to turn this into an addon. I have the basic idea in mind. Now if you look at the resource you can see that the text connects to a quotes.txt in the file directory. Any idea of how I could connect some options to that? Maybe @Chris Deeming?

Mostly mutliple text options for the quotes. Would LOVE to have an "add more" but I'll ask that question later. And maybe options for where to place the random text.

If you want to add more dynamically, it will probably be easier for you to switch it to a database based add-on. Other than that, read up on the file system functions in PHP:

Create DataWriters, models, edit/add actions, and database queries where necessary.

You probably want to read some tutorials, threads in this forum, and code before you under take rewriting it into a database based add-on.
