Need help ASAP setting up email sending and support inbox for XF 2.3 forum

I own reincarnationforum.com, active since 1997. I recently took over the management of the Forum and discovered that new members aren't receiving verification emails. None, for who knows how long. Our host confirmed the cause: XF sends through PHP mail with a Gmail "From" address, so receiving servers treat it as forged. Host is https://mattwservices.co.uk.

I need someone to set up a proper email system and get registration working again. The work needs to start within the next few days. I explain the reason for the urgency here: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/best-practices-for-new-member-verification.240610/

Deliverability is the priority. Verification emails must reach the inbox, not the spam folder. I'm looking for someone with hands-on experience getting forum mail delivered reliably, not just configuring SMTP.

Scope
  • Recommend and set up a sending service (Brevo, ZeptoMail, or similar). Volume is small: up to ~50 signups a day, plus occasional bulk mail in batches of ~100.
  • Set up one shared mailbox, support@reincarnationforum.com, with a few aliases delivering into it.
  • Provide SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records. I manage DNS at DirectNic and will enter them myself.
  • Configure SMTP and bounce handling in the ACP.
  • Test delivery to Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo, and confirm verification emails land in the inbox.
  • Write a summary of what was set up, so a future admin can maintain it.
Requirements
  • Access through a temporary admin account, removed when the work is done.
  • Fixed-price quote and completion date.
  • All service accounts are created in my name, with my billing.
When you reply, please include:
  1. Your fixed price.
  2. When you can start and finish.
  3. A similar deliverability job you've done, and which sending service you used.
Reply here or DM me. I’m in the US Eastern time zone.

Wow, I got a dozen replies in ten minutes. It's good to know there are so many experts here ready to help.

One of the replies was from MattW, who has been my host for ten years. He informed me that I had email service available as part of his package all this time. I didn't know that until now. I'm going to discuss details with him before I respond to any of the rest of you. I'll post here what I decide.

Thank you,

Steve

I have tried so many - Mandrill, Sengrid, mailgun, Amazon, Postmark, Jet, Zoho. Most had deliverability issues especially Jet and Postmark. I recently started with Brevo and so far it is great. Nothing bounced due to spam folders or blacklists.

I want to thank everybody who replied and offered to help. I'm impressed the depth of expertise here, and confident that you have my back when I have problems with my forum.

AndyB and MattW helped me solve this email sending problem, and then some. Problem solved.

Steve
