Try submitting your link to interested sites that deal with the same topic. For example, I used to post reviews of Mac hardware, and I would submit those reviews to other Mac sites. Some of them would post my link. But you need to offer some kind of content. Give them something. Otherwise you are just asking for a free link which doesn't work.

Post your site here: http://xenforo.com/community/forums/forum-showcase-and-critiques.53/ Talk a bit about your site, and then post the link.
