XF 2.3 My Forum is suddently sending out "See what you missed" emails to everyone

I've tried researching this, and it is supposedly a simple setting that, if a person has been inactive for a period of time, they receive a message. Suddenly, over the last few days, however, my entire user base, including me, is getting these messages.

Any ideas why or where I can look to see if a setting is amiss?

My guess is that you have one or more addons installed that are causing this.

Or somehow there is an issue with server date or something.
