Run a large board with 3006 members, 955,000 posts, 200 members on at a time.

    Dedicated server:

    • Intel Xeon Dual Core, 2.3GHz (4 threads)
    • 100 Mbps Uplink
    • 4 GB High Performance RAM
    • 500 GB RAID-1 Drives
    • 10 TB Bandwidth
    • 2 Dedicated IPs
Don't quite understand SSH or what settings would be ideal for a board this size.

    Constant server errors everyday.

Well, to begin with... what kind of "constant server errors". That is the first step on getting guidance.
They could be mysql errors, they could be php errors, they could be HTTP server errors.... so a little clarification would help.;)

If you are not familiar with SSH or comfortable with working from the command line it might be better to engage one of the people that offer their services to tune your server.
