I've set up a new XF 2.1 in our production server, and I've imported our VB4 content. XF isn't connected to the public URL yet, and we have XF closed while we get familiar with it. We're starting to customize it for our use. My question is, can we simply re-import the VB4 content into this system when we are ready to go live with XF, or do we need to blow away everything and start over with our customization?
Related to this is the Blog import does not pick up attachments from VB. I'd like to be able to have the attachments in the Blog within XF, but I don't want to hold up moving to XF just for this one issue. Is there any way to do a re-import of just the Blog at a later date once the attachment issue is fixed?
