I know it sounds silly, but is there a way to allow people to register more than once with the same email address, for example? For a role-play type scenario with multiple characters. Any advise on this?

I know. Was merely enquiring if there was a workaround.
Normally I wouldn't be asking this as I know why it is.

Ok, another question...how about a user notes addon?
Similar to phpbb admin/moderator user notes feature.
Where staff can leave notes on a user's "User Notes".
Only staff can view these notes.
But it lets staff members know what a users up to.

For example:

"This user is related to <username>'s account".

If your users use gmail, they can add a "+" sign at the end of their email and can effectively beat any singular registration email system. I use that trick all the time.
