Please move all the category related abstract code into own abstract datawriter and model
1. I don't understand why the categories aren't nodes, because most of the logic is the same (except the permission system, which is much more powerful in nodes

Just compare the RM Category DW & model with Node Model and DW + Forum DW.
Too many similar fields, too many similar methods,right?
Addons copying this feature have to copy too much of the RM code instead of being able to reuse it.
