Add-on Motorcycle garage add-on

I'm debating of building this myself or paying someone to put it together for me. If you'd like to quote shoot me a DM. I can supply the brand, model list, year 1903-current year.

I want a motorcycle garage add-on that includes these fields and functions.

• permission required by usergroup
• nickname - editable
• brand - editable
• model - editable
• year - editable
• up-loadable image - editable
• modification list - editable
• current odometer / Mileage
• service log / Maintenance Notes
• VIN (optional)

Edit: I have done a bit of research and I can apparently ping a US Gov database that from a VIN will populate make, model, year which I could use as a verification and give the user a verified badge.

Future:

• marketplace
  • Status = Owned, Dream Bike, Stolen, For Sale
  • For Sale = asking price
  • DM link
• Stolen Bike
  • If a user changes their status to Stolen:
    1. Add a "STOLEN" red banner across the image.

I know this post is a few months old now but was curious if you found someone to do this or have started on it yourself.

Works perfect, and you aren't going to find a better, more reliable developer. Period.

Agreed Bob's add-ons are really good. I asked him to do mine but our timing didn't work. My site is live in beta and is only available to Canada USA but you can see the Garage with my bike.

Good idea. We’re using the national VIN database API to grab bike information and verify the VIN. Users with a verified VIN can use more features like a for sale listing or bike stolen.

Yeah its pretty cool. I only have my old bike VIN to grab data which is limited. It'll be interesting to see what more modern bikes will return
