XF 1.5 Most active threads in all forums?

Is there a way to have a forum composed of all the most active threads in every other forum? For instance, let's say our f0rum structure is like this:

HOT
1
2
3

I would want the 20 most active threads in 1, 2, and 3 to show up in HOT.

That would require custom development.

I believe there is an add-on which does something similar related to 'top content'.

Haha I was searching around the forums and found your old post about it. I found the addon "Trending Content" which, while not perfect, will suffice for now.
