Model Context Protocol (MCP): connect XF to AI

It would be quite useful to have a MCP for XenForo. There are many use cases.
There are so many admin tasks that take weeks or months to complete, where an LLM could do the legwork.

I'd like LLM to be able to search all content in forum and other content types and do stuff with the results. To illustrate here are some things I'd like Claude or another LLM to do:
  1. find all discussion threads that should be question threads, suggest a descriptive title and queue the threads for batch processing (batch process threads)
  2. find all users that have ever had a paid user upgrade, add them to a new usergroup and design a nice looking promotional mail to send to those users.
  3. check all company listings in our company reviews section (addon) and check if the companies still are operational and update the contact data in the thread / listing if changed.
  4. find malfunctioning bbcode in posts and suggest fixes.
  5. analyse our support tickets for recurring topics and create knowledge base topics for those.
  6. search posts for specific terminology, slang and discussion and do X,Y,Z with it.
  7. find recurring questions that have not been completely answered and suggest answers.
  8. find missed rule breaches and report these. Or do X,Y,Z with it.
  9. check multiple accounts for X,Y,Z and if its the same person then merge accounts.
  10. change bbcode A to bbcode B in all posts.
  11. check bounced mail log every day and report if there are recurring bounce messages that are soft bounce and not X,Y,Z.
  12. check all new posts daily and post links to highly relevant content on the site. Put the post in the approval queue.
  13. find data on website X and post the data in custom fields in category X of addon Y.
  14. Find highly informative posts and give these a 'Informative' reaction from user account X.
etc, etc. etc.
The possibilities are endless. I think I can write hundreds of such tasks for LLM.

Of course an MCP can allow LLM agents to do various automations and reduce staff and admin workload.

The tasks above are examples to highlight the diversity of access the MCP needs to have.
it would be nice if there would be a place to review the proposed changes the LLM can prepare and the admin can review the changes and approve those the admin agrees with.
