Closed Missing user group banners from API

secondary_group_ids only seem to be visible if you are an administrator via /api/users API.

If the API is designed to only show this property for administrators vs registered users, is there another way to retrieve the list of banners based on group membership for a registered user?

Thank you for reporting this issue. The API only includes a user's primary and secondary user group IDs when the request is made with admin user permissions or a key that bypasses permissions. For other users it returns no group or banner information. This is intended behaviour, and the same behaviour was previously closed as not a bug.
