Minimum posts to view thread

I am looking to set minimum posts for a group to view a thread in a forum.

Or all threads in a specific forum?

All threads would work too.

You can do that with the built in user group promotion system.

Set the view permission for the node for the Registered user group to no.

Create a new user group and set the view permission for the node for that group to yes.

Create a promotion to add members to the new user group after x posts.
