Currently using gallery2 on a site I run to host an archive of material - catalogue scans, magazine articles etc mainly in pdf and jpg format.
Ideally want to move this over to an XF based solution, plan is to migrate the whole site to XF asap.
I've not seen an importer so assume this will end up being a manual process.
Second question would be to poll for thoughts as to which xf plugin wuld be most suitable. Having had a quick read up resource manager looks reasonable. Thoughts on this? Is it possible to setup resource manager with well defined categories, i.e. manufacturer\catalog manufacturer\articles etc etc.
