Memcache + APC

Hi all, I was reading through this thread but couldn't find a config -

I am looking for a config file for APC + Lib Memcache to run both together.

From what I have read I have also found you don't need to have APC in your config as Xen uses it automatically is that correct?

Any help appreciated.

APC is an OPCode cacher, which caches the compiled PHP pages. If it's installed on your server, it will just work. If you then want to use Libmemcached for the back end, you need to have that installed as well.

This was the part of my config to use Libmemcached for the back end

$config['cache']['backend']='Libmemcached';
$config['cache']['backendOptions']=array(
      'compression'=>false,
      'servers' => array(
              array(
                      'host'=>'127.0.0.1',
                      'port'=>'11211',
                      'persistent' => 'true'
                )
      )
);

I am confused; do you use Libmemcached to for caching or memcached? I thought it was memcached
