XF 2.3 Members currently online and DM's

Does this make sense to anyone? I just went to my "current visitors" area to see if someone is logged in, and I noticed something... How is it possible that guests are viewing direct messages?

I went in on a different browser without logging in and did not see a DM option

What am I missing here?

It’s bots hitting the url, no need to worry about it.

It's probably just bots - but no idea how they could be viewing direct messages. Unless they're just viewing the heading "direct messages"?

That’s the part I was wondering about. I didn’t understand how a bot could even see the page. I guess it’s trying but it can’t.

You can test it yourself via an incognito session.

Interesting. So, the bot (knows) to look for the domain plus "community/conversations" even though it never had access to ever access it to know what it would be looking for. I wonder how it does that.
