I was wondering if the way members and such is different between XenForo and vB4.

My member count dropped by 77 but had 3 new members during the process of moving members to the XenForo test forum. At first it looks like I lost 74 members but I am betting there is a difference the way members are counted.

    Anyone have an idea?

    Adding some more information.

Thread count grew and posts count grew with XenForo but that might be CMS data. member count dropped.

The user counter might be explained by the fact that xenForo only counts valid users (not awaiting activation or moderation) who aren't banned.

You might be right about the CMS data. The vB4 CMS stores its articles in a hidden forum, so the importer probably imports those articles as threads and posts.

    Thanks.

I am not sure how vB4 counts members. Does anyone know if banneed users are in the member count for v4?

I just checked. vB4 differs in that it does count banned users. So the difference in user count is probably your banned users.
